Communication Networks was formed in 2007 out of a need for the advancement of signal transmission technology. Communication Networks is founded by one of the pioneers in the industry, George Lichtblau, founder of the former International Fiber Systems before becoming part of GE Security in 2003. After watching the integration of that business, the need for a company that was based on the same principles and values IFS started with became apparent. ComNet was established out of that need. ComNet is located in a 25000 square foot state of the art facility located in Danbury, Connecticut.
