Security for the World’s Tallest Hotel

Rose Rayhaan by Rotana, the world's tallest hotel, uses a combination of Infinova pan-tilt-zoom, fixed and dome cameras in order to protect its guests, staff and property.  Located on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, the 72-story Rose Rayhaan by Rotana has a height of 333 m (1,093 ft) and features 482 rooms and suites. more

Data transmission to Asda petrol stations

Western European IT Security Appliance Market Saw Growth in 1Q10

According to IDC's Western European Quarterly Security Appliance Tracker, 1Q10 revenues for the Western European security appliance market reached $399.5 million in factory revenue, a 0.8% increase over the same quarter a year ago. Shipments increased 1.3% over last year's first quarter with 133,913 units shipped. more

Capital Safety Announces Anders Pettersson as CEO

Capital Safety announced that Anders Pettersson has joined the company as its new Chief Executive Officer. For the last eight years, Pettersson has served as president and CEO of Sweden-based Thule AB, a global manufacturer of sports and utility transportation products. Pettersson replaces former Capital Safety CEO, Gareth Rhys Williams, who left Capital Safety to pursue other interests. more

USA: Massive Investment in Imaging Technology to Enhance Security
