More than 500 million passengers travel every year via bus, tram and six subway lines over a network of 95 kilometers with 100 stations and nearly 580 subway cars. In cooperation with Seetec, GIT SECURITY tests current and new video cameras under standardised conditions in the test laboratory of the SeeTec Hardware Competence Center. The Hardware Competence Center was set up because the data and performance specifications of network cameras as stated by manufacturers are often measured under different conditions and are not always reliable in practice. The results provided a sound basis for planning IP video projects and help to avoid unpleasant surprises.

Axis reports increased sales by 10 percent during the second quarter to SEK 747 M (678) and net sales increased by 27 percent in local currencies. The operating profit increased to SEK 90 M (74), which corresponds to an operating margin of 12.1 percent (10.9). Profit after tax for Q2 amounted to SEK 66 M (53) and aarnings per share amounted to SEK 0.96 (0.76).
