Nedap AVI announces the introduction of "uPASS Access", a groundbreaking RFID reader for convenient building access control. The uPASS Access supports the passive UHF technology (EPC Gen II) and enables a read range of up to 2 meters (6 feet). The reader is characterized by a small design that fits on the doorpost of each interior. Nedap AVI will release the uPASS Access at IFSEC 2012, from 14 - 17 May, in Birmingham (UK).
