ONVIF, the global standardization initiative for IP-based physical security products held a roundtable panel discussion at the recent IFSEC International trade show that examined interoperability issues for IP-based physical security devices as part of its security industry education efforts.

IP Cameras for Home and Enterprise

Nedap AVI announces the introduction of "uPASS Access", a groundbreaking RFID reader for convenient building access control. The uPASS Access supports the passive UHF technology (EPC Gen II) and enables a read range of up to 2 meters (6 feet). The reader is characterized by a small design that fits on the doorpost of each interior. Nedap AVI will release the uPASS Access at IFSEC 2012, from 14 - 17 May, in Birmingham (UK).
Canon Europe, one of the world-leaders in imaging solutions, will show its full range of network cameras at IFSEC (Hall 4, E40) including the feature-rich VB-M600VE megapixel camera and the recently announced outdoor Pan Tilt Zoom XU-80. The stand also includes an Integration Zone, where leading video surveillance management companies will demonstrate complete security solutions using Canon cameras and third party software.
At this year’s IFSEC, which takes place from May 14th to 17th in Birmingham, UK, Dallmeier (Hall 4, Stand D80) will present its comprehensive portfolio of professional video management systems. The highlight will be the award-winning and much-lauded multifocal sensor system Panomera.
Last year, Panomera was unveiled at the IFSEC – and honoured with the IFSEC Security Industry Award as “Security Product of the Year“.
