IndigoVision announced the appointment of Jurgen Klijn to its executive team, as Senior Vice President, EMEA. Klijn has been with IndigoVision since 2006, as a sales account manager based in Amsterdam. Over that time, he has built a strong business in the Benelux region. Klijn came to IndigoVision with an established record in security system business development, having worked with international operating companies Optelecom-NKF, Getronics and previously in a variety of roles with local system integrators.

IndigoVision, supplier IP Video security solutions, has announced its half-year financial results. The company reported operating profits up by 14% to a record £1.59m ($2.5m) for the six-month period ending 31 January 2012. When currency fluctuations are factored in, operating profits rose by 25%.

IndigoVision has made it possible for unlimited clients to view remote cameras over restricted bandwidth connections such as satellite links.
This powerful feature allows multiple simultaneous client views of a camera from a low bandwidth, remote location. Only a single stream of video is sent from each IndigoVision camera at any one time over the low bandwidth part of the network, passing it on to as many viewers as required. Seamless PTZ control is provided automatically for all clients viewing the stream.

City of Westminster College has invested in the latest IP Video technology from IndigoVision to provide integrated CCTV surveillance for its new flagship campus. Opened in January 2011, the £102m project involved the re-development of the College's former Paddington Green site in Central London into a new state-of-the-art Campus.

Astronaut Nicole Passonno Stott's recent visit to IndigoVision, the Edinburgh-based IP Video Security solutions manufacturer, was a remarkable event for the company. Nicole was a crew member on the historic 39th and final mission of space shuttle Discovery in February 2011, a 13-day flight to the International Space Station (ISS). She has had a distinguished career in NASA and as an engineer in the aerospace industry.

IndigoVision, manufacturer of end-to-end IP Video security solutions, releases a new integration module for Software House C•CURE 9000 access control. This supports C•CURE 9000 versions 2.0 and 2.01 and has been tested and certified by Software House for use with SMS 4, IndigoVision's Security Management System platform.
This integration allows events and alarms from C•CURE 9000 systems to be sent across the IP network to ‘Control Center', IndigoVision's Video Management Software (VMS).

Town of Harrison Police Department in New Jersey has vastly improved their performance by deploying a city-wide wireless surveillance system based on IndigoVision's IP video technology. Harnessing the power of IP Video has meant the department's incident response has improved and the percentage of investigations resulting in arrests and prosecutions has significantly increased.

IndigoVision has announced its half year financial results. The company reported an increase in sales revenues of 25% to £15.0m ($24.0m) for the 6-month period ending 31 January 2011, with operating profits up by 15% to £1.4M ($2.2m). Significant investment in research and development continued and the strong balance sheet enabled the payment of an interim dividend for the first time.
IndigoVision has continued to focus on product development with a number of significant projects coming to fruition in the last 6 months.
