IndigoVision's complete IP Video technology has been used to upgrade real-time monitoring onboard the Polar Pioneer exploration rig, having passed an extensive and rigorous testing programme in a harsh and challenging environment. The new IP-CCTV system monitors the platform drilling operation to ensure safe and efficient operation at all times and provides the rig with a scalable solution for future expansion.

Since August 2009, Dallmeier has been a "Contributing Member" to Onvif and meanwhile all Dallmeier IP cameras have successfully been tested for Onvif compatibility.
The Open Network Video Interface Forum, short Onvif, aims at creating a global interface standard for networked video products. Such a standard makes it possible to jointly use devices from a variety of manufacturers in one system.

The „City of Dreams" is a massive new casino project currently under construction in Macau - an integrated urban resort in which there will be exciting entertainment, elegant night clubs, a varied choice of hotels, first-class regional and international catering and world-class shopping as well as an expansive and modern casino. Part of the complex opened its doors to visitors already in June 2009. When it is completely open, the „City of Dreams" will have around 2,200 hotel rooms as well as 550 gaming tables and around 1,500 gaming machines.

Axis is starting the second decade of the century with a big surprise: they have announced the first true network-capable thermal camera worldwide – and at a particularly attractive price. The Axis Q1910 and the Axis Q1910-E see everything that radiates even a little heat within a radius of 200 m and they don‘t need any light for this at all.
The camera manufacturer announced its very own brand new high-tech development to the public on 18 January.
