Cool storage of flammable liquids

Düperthal presents the under-bench cabinet Cool UTS LT, a solution for small amounts of flammable liquids that have to be stored in a cool environment. The cabinet offers a fire resistance of 90 minutes (Type 90) and has a cooling compartment with an explosion-proof interior.

The temperature is continuously variable between +2°C and +10°C. The cabinet has two wing doors. Behind the left door lies the cooling compartment, which is equipped with a bottom tray made of polypropylene. Behind the right door, the technical unit can be found. more04.02.2010

Storage of hazardous materials

The storage of hazardous materials has been defined for decades and is specified in various legal tests such as the Occupational Safety Regulations (BetrSichV) or the Technical Regulations for Flammable Liquids (TRbF). Clearly formulated definitions of active and passive storage exist. However, the solutions implemented in practice often differ from the legal requirements. Standardized solutions are difficult to find, especially for the active storage of smaller quantities in the working space, e.g. a 200 litre drum of flammable liquid.
