In the Security Experts Forum, exhibitors in Hall 6 will present the latest innovations and practical experiences in the field of security on a daily basis. The Fire Protection Forum, organized in cooperation with Haus der Technik, will provide comprehensive information on fire prevention and fire fighting with exciting presentations and discussions on September 22 and 23. For example, Michael Buschmann, Head of International Business Development Management, TROX GmbH, will be talking about the special features of fire protection in exhibition halls and Thomas Gulitz from the Gelsenkirchen Fire Department will be talking about fire protection in the Arena auf Schalke.
Security Essen counts important decision-makers and high-ranking politicians among its guests. For example, the Minister of the Interior of North Rhine-Westphalia, Herbert Reul, has announced his visit. On September 20, a delegation of buyers from the United Nations (UN) will also travel to the Ruhr metropolis to find out about new products. In a seminar entitled "How to do business with the UN", the representatives will present the UN's procurement system. In addition, a 30-strong international delegation of members of the European DIY Retail Association (EDRA) and the Global Home Improvement Network (GHIN) will visit Security Essen on September 22. Furthermore, country delegations have registered. Special theme days such as the Education and Training Day, the BeNeLux Day and the Authorities Day also invite visitors to network.
