American Science and Engineering ("AS&E") announced today the receipt of an additional order from Yemen Customs for two of the Company's top selling Z Backscatter Vans (ZBV) to screen cargo and vehicles for explosive threats and contraband to fight terrorism at seaports and land border crossings.

Yemen Customs previously purchased two ZBV systems in December 2010 with an exercisable option for two additional systems. "With these additional ZBV systems, Yemen Customs has four very powerful and effective tools to inspect cargo and vehicles to secure their seaports and borders.
