GIT SECURITY EMEA News April 2019

Dear Reader,

There is so much change in the security industry today. New security concepts are introduced, product innovation is at its peak in the access control sector and AI is not just a buzz word but reality in security projects.

To keep an overview about what is applicable to your daily work or upcoming projects can be a challenge for you as a user, but it is also challenge for vendors to get the message out in the market. Twitter feeds, blog coments and content snippets might be a good tool to create short-term attention but to get an insight into technology or to educate the market you need to dive deeper into the flood of information that is available online.

We see case studies, background interviews and whitepapers as a valuable tool to inform you what is going on in the market. In this issue we show you how OSDP fills an industry need and offers a secure option, other than the antiquated Clock-and-Data signal and Wiegand protocols, to organizations wanting to enhance their overall security postures.

An access control system is a significant long-term investment but one that, chosen well, can give a host of valuable benefits. The whitepaper “5 steps to finding the right access control system” shows you a step-by-step approach to select an access control system that will keep pace with your company for the next years.

Best regards

Heiko Baumgartner for GIT's safety and security team
