Banner Engineering: Type 4 Safety Light Curtain with no dead zones

Banner Engineering: Type 4 Safety Light Curtain with no dead zones. A compact, and low-cost Type 4 Safety Light Curtain has been introduced by Banner Engineering.

The EZ-Screen LP (Low Profile) provides continuous protection for the entire length of the screen, with no dead zones.

Its two-piece design (emitter and receiver) with integrated controls eliminates the need for a separate controller. The curtain is designed for easy mounting and reliable operation on machinery used in a wide range of industries including automotive, electronics and semiconductor, materials handling and metalworking.

Screens are available in safety yellow, brushed anodized aluminum for a more aesthetic appearance where yellow is not required, and a nickel-plated ESD (electrostatic discharge) safe housing for semiconductor applications.

HVI Light Plus for Lightning Protection Applications

When installing bare, uninsulated air-termination conductors on the roof, the separation distance to electrical and metal systems installed under the roof surface must be maintained in accordance with the current lightning protection standard DIN EN 62305-3. Cable installations, pipe systems or metal parts are frequently installed under the roofing in direct proximity to the air-termination system / down conductor, thus posing a proximity issue. The solution is isolated air-termination systems with high-voltage-resistant, insulated down conductors.
