CEM Systems: DIU 220 Power over Ethernet door interface unit

CEM Systems: DIU 220 Power over Ethernet door interface unit. CEM Systems has taken advantage of PoE Plus technology to be the first to offer 1.6 Amps to reliably power a complete door set (consisting of a controller, two 650 mA Maglocks, door holder, sounder and strobe) via Ethernet.

Incorporating a high power PoE splitter module, the DIU 220 Power over Ethernet door interface unit reliably delivers sufficient power and Ethernet communication to power a complete door set using one CAT5/6 Ethernet cable.

The benefits at a glance are:

  • Complete IP Solution,
  • PoE Plus Power over Ethernet Access Control – Reliably powers a complete door set via one Cat5/6 cable,
  • eliminates the need for local mains power and AC/DC power at the door,
  • low voltage installation – can be installed by IT network/security installers without an electrician,
  • low cost solution.

DEHNventil ACI M: Standard-compliant Surge Protection in Industry

High demands are placed on the availability of switchgear in, for example, industrial plants, data centres, hospitals and large administrative buildings. This makes surge protection essential. At the same time, replacement of the surge protection module should not influence system availability. The new DEHNventil ACI M TNS 264 FM has no backup fuse and is flexible in terms of its application. In the event of a fault, the protection module is safely disconnected and can be quickly removed from the base part from either side or the front. The touch-safe design allows the protection module to be replaced without system downtime. The ACI technology employed also enables connection cross-sections of just 16 mm2. This facilitates installation and saves time.
