PegaSys Office Enables Access without Key or PIN
More and more interior doors within buildings, e.g. offices where confidential information is stored or meeting rooms, are being secured with this access solution.

As part of the new eVAYO product generation, the outstanding features of the PegaSys Office fitting are its innovative design and its energy-friendly and cost-efficient use. It operates according to the NetworkOnCard principle. The required information and permissions of the employees who have access to the room behind the door are stored on the existing company credentials as well as in the fitting. At the same time, the fitting checks whether a temporal permission exists. If an employee loses his/her credential while not at work, it is nevertheless worthless for the finder because there is no temporal permission stored on the credential at this point in time. The employee receives a new temporal permission at an online terminal each morning. If an employee loses his/her credential and reports it, the credential is immediately blocked in the online system. It is therefore no longer possible to load permissions.

The electronic fitting can easily and quickly be integrated into existing access control systems. With low investment costs, hardly any installation work and without damaging doors, PegaSys Office is simply attached in place of the previous mechanical locking system. Compared to online systems, this access solution does not require extensive, complicated wiring, as the fittings are battery-operated. When the battery becomes weak, an acoustic signal gives the users an early warning.
