Schulte-Schlagbaum AG: online operation of offline locking systems

Schulte-Schlagbaum AG: online operation of offline locking systems. Schulte-Schlagbaum AG is now providing easy online operation of offline security systems with its new Variree CyberNet.

Both online and offline elements run themselves on the principle of the ‘self-learning organization’, simplifying your security management. Varifree CyberNet allows wireless data exchange between RFID locks for doors and lockers, online terminals (known as CyberSpots) and servers via RFID data carriers (for example cards).

This means that organizational benefits which normally feature only in wired online systems can also be used in your business’s offline door and locker locks. With just the click of a mouse, access authorization can be quickly and easily configured straight from your PC.

Timebased access limits on centralised online terminals are stored daily on an RFID data carrier and transferred automatically to the locks. Control logs and the battery status of door and locker controls are simply displayed on a PC and lost “keys” are automatically blocked. RFID technology from HITAG, Mifare and Legic is available.

DEHNventil ACI M: Standard-compliant Surge Protection in Industry

High demands are placed on the availability of switchgear in, for example, industrial plants, data centres, hospitals and large administrative buildings. This makes surge protection essential. At the same time, replacement of the surge protection module should not influence system availability. The new DEHNventil ACI M TNS 264 FM has no backup fuse and is flexible in terms of its application. In the event of a fault, the protection module is safely disconnected and can be quickly removed from the base part from either side or the front. The touch-safe design allows the protection module to be replaced without system downtime. The ACI technology employed also enables connection cross-sections of just 16 mm2. This facilitates installation and saves time.
