Vicon to demonstrate latest 12MP/4K IQeye Sentinel at the Security

Photo

Vicon will show at this year's Security in Essen the latest product innovations and bestsellers for High-Defintion IP video. In addition to the highly successful HD Express plug & play system they will be demonstrating the new Version 7 of their management software ViconNet. This amongst many new features allows full integration with the IQinVision cameras including the latest 12MP/4K IQeye Sentinel, specifically designed for demanding outdoor applications.

The next generation IQeye Sentinel delivers up to 12MP resolution and is ideal for outdoor applications that typically cover wider fields of view. It offers vibrant, crisp images using cutting-edge imaging sensor and encoder technology capable of producing 4K Ultra HD video at 30 frames per second.

This new all-weather camera offers approximately 6 times normally the pixels available in a standard HD1080p camera, enabling greatly increased pixel density for the same scene. As a result users can install fewer of these cameras to capture a wider field of view while maintaining the original pixel density.

The next generation 12MP Sentinel pushes beyond the boundaries of commonly accepted camera capabilities. It has enough processing power to not only deliver multi-streaming forensic quality video with enhanced image processing and noise correction, but also run analytics directly on the camera before pushing video over the network.

DEHNventil ACI M: Standard-compliant Surge Protection in Industry

High demands are placed on the availability of switchgear in, for example, industrial plants, data centres, hospitals and large administrative buildings. This makes surge protection essential. At the same time, replacement of the surge protection module should not influence system availability. The new DEHNventil ACI M TNS 264 FM has no backup fuse and is flexible in terms of its application. In the event of a fault, the protection module is safely disconnected and can be quickly removed from the base part from either side or the front. The touch-safe design allows the protection module to be replaced without system downtime. The ACI technology employed also enables connection cross-sections of just 16 mm2. This facilitates installation and saves time.
