Videotec: Video Agent Albert. Videotec announced its entrance into the market for IP-based video surveillance products and launched Albert, a Video Agent with advanced algorithms for the Video Content Analysis (H264) and with extraordinary capabilities like Intelligent Cooperation and Assisted Navigation.

Like a member of a team, each unit broadcasts information about its activities, knows what the others are doing and sets its PTZ parameters accordingly to perform cooperative tasks, with a minimum of setup effort and no need of a central server.

The system features an advanced, outdoor-oriented, self-learning Event Detector, developed for dynamic/ outdoor scenarios, with need of a simple configuration.

It will automatically adapt its parameters to moving trees, rain, sea waves, light changes, shadows.
