Bosch: new access control software at the German Economic Federation for Civil Servants. ‚Access Personal Edition‘, the new software for access control systems from Bosch, is a modular solution that is perfectly suited for use in small and medium-sized premises, offices, production plants and military facilities.

The new software also fits the bill for the German Economic Federation for Civil Servants in Bonn, seamlessly and smoothly meeting its each and every requirement. The access control system in operation there comprises Access Personal Edition and three access control panels, along with 16 card readers, which have been seamlessly integrated into the existing intercom system and adapted to its design.

The system is used by a total of 150 associates with access rights.

Easy Upgrading

This solution is the perfect starting point for applications that demand a high level of security, but do not require an extensive and complex access control system. It is based on the intelligent access control hardware platform that communicates via the TCP/IP and RS485 protocols, enabling seamless system transition to the Access Engine (ACE) for the Building Integration System from Bosch, which is particularly useful when users want to upgrade the range of functions offered by the access control system.

Ulrich Seidel, account manager at Bosch Security Systems, adds that the favourable price-performance ratio “…was also decisive for the German Economic Federation for Civil Servants”.
