American Science and Engineering ("AS&E") announced that the Company has been awarded an additional order valued at $4.9 million under the indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract from the U.S. government for multiple Z Portal vehicle screening systems.

This is the second task order received under the multi-year ID/IQ contract with a ceiling value of $67.0 million; to date, $34.4 million of the contract has been funded. The Z Portal systems will be deployed on multiple U.S. border crossings.
