As one of the leading manufacturers of digital uEye industrial cameras with USB and GigE interface, frame grabbers and iGuard DVR kit solutions, IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH can now look back on more than 13 years of successful company history.

The company was founded in 1997 by Armin Vogt and Jürgen Hartmann as a two-man business. The objective was and is to develop, produce and distribute professional components for image processing, which are characterized by a favorable price/performance ratio as well as by a particularly easy handling.

Today, the company has an international presence with more than 70 employees, a subsidiary in the USA and sales partners in almost all European and Asian countries. About half of the employees work as engineers in hardware and software development as well as in application & engineering. In addition to our qualified sales team, they are available to the customer for support before and after the purchase.

The success of this concept is proven by more than 150,000 installed frame grabbers and more than 100,000 sold uEye cameras with USB and GigE interface worldwide. Our customers are on the one hand manufacturers from the security sector, equipment, machine and plant construction as well as software system houses.
