Network Video Technologies: protecting Queen Alia International Airport. 20 miles south of Amman, Queen Alia International Airport is the home of Royal Jordanian Airlines, Jordan’s national airline, and a major hub for others. Two passenger terminals welcome up to five million passengers each year and high security is ensured by using the latest security equipment.

Network Video Technologies, supported by International New Technical of Amman, has provided UTP video transmission technology in a comprehensive CCTV network upgrade.

They have increased the camera count to nearly 100, with video recorded on DVRs located in the south terminal control room. Some new cameras are up to 900 metres from the control facility, so using a UTP system provides high-quality real-time video at a distance with unparalleled interference rejection.
