The award was presented to Steffen Springer and Katharina Rischer of Wagner in the presence of Brigitte Zypries, former German Federal Minister of Economics.

An evaluation matrix developed by experts from business and science was used to obtain a holistic picture of the company. The focus of the analysis was on the areas of modern management and employee friendliness. Wagner received the award as an innovative company with a clear digitalization strategy, which pursues concrete, future-oriented sustainability goals and offers attractive working conditions.

Katharina Rischer, Director HR at Wagner, sees the award as confirmation of the strategic direction the company has taken: "The world of work has changed dramatically in recent years. This applies to the demands placed on employees as well as the demands placed on us as an employer.
