How can cities become safer, especially in challenging times? Selected experts from the security industry discussed this on 22 September 2020 at Messe Essen.

With the participation of NRW's Minister of the Interior Herbert Reul, they spoke about challenges, protective measures and whether and how the security landscape in German cities will change in the future. Among the participants were Essen's Lord Mayor Thomas Kufen, Essen's Chief Constable Frank Richter and Christian Kromberg, head of the Department of Public Order, Düsseldorf's Chief Constable Norbert Wesseler and Christian Zaum, head of the Department of Public Order and Legal Affairs, as well as Cologne's city director Dr. Stephan Keller.

The RP Economic Forum on Security took place with the support of security essen at Messe Essen. The international trade fair for security and fire protection is the leading fair of the security industry and is held in Essen every two years.
