Shitbox Rally – an innovative car race started 5 years ago in Australia that has since raised over 4.4 million Australian dollars for cancer research. This year, 75 teams took go to the starting line on 12 February, in New Zealand for the first time.

Geutebruck Pacific is sponsoring the "Super Nut Jobs" team, which has so far collected the most donations with $ 20,000 and is thus considered the clear favorite. "We wish our team of Craig and Gavin a successful race! The Shitbox Rally is quite simply a fun event. I love the idea that this extraordinary race raises money for cancer research", explains Anthony Brooks, CEO of Geutebruck Pacific.

The Shitbox Rally concept: Each team (2 people) buys a vehicle, which must not be cost more than $1000 (AUD) – hence the name "Shitbox". Before the race, the vehicles are auctioned between the teams: The team that has collected the most money leading up to the race wins the best vehicle. Hence the Geutebruck team, the "Super Nut Jobs" has the best of chances to win the race.

The Shitbox Rally lasts 9 days, starting in Auckland. The route leads over the entire North Island of New Zealand: past beaches, volcanoes, mountain passes and rugged trails. After the rally the vehicles are sold, and these proceeds also go to cancer research.

Geutebruck will provide updates on its team, the "Super Nut Jobs" on their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/geutebrueckgmbh
