Sierra-Olympic introduces an innovative and affordable series of longwave infrared (LWIR) chassis cameras with highly-functional, continuous-zoom optics. The uncooled VINDEN CZ 320 camera features both 60 Hz and 9 Hz frame rates, at 320 x 240 pixel resolution with a 6X zoom factor. The VINDEN CZ 640 offers 30 Hz and 9Hz versions, with 3X optical zoom and 4X digital zoom. Slower frame rate versions are available with fewer export restrictions. Both LWIR cameras offer 1.5 degree horizontal field of view (HFOV) in full optical/digital zoom. The parfocal zoom optic keeps objects in perfect focus through the entire zoom range, at any object distance.

The Vinden CZ LWIR continuous-zoom chassis camera series is the ideal imaging solution for security and surveillance, industrial, and military imaging tasks. Designed for easy integration into new or existing systems, the rugged, compact chassis weighs only 860 grams. Both camera models feature an advanced vision processor to provide superior image processing, noise-reduction functions, and extensions for edge analytics to achieve optimum LWIR video performance.
